Heart to Art: Gratitude Mandala
In the previous blog post I shared 10 Art Journal Prompts to help you get started on your Heart to Art Activities. I define Heart to Art – as the practice of expressing your thoughts, feelings, whatever is on your heart, in a creative manner. It could be a visual picture, poetry, or even something musical – however you feel free to express yourself creatively. Today I wanted to share what I’ve come up with using one of the prompts from the list: Create a Gratitude Mandala
Be Grateful in All Things
As wild, unexpected, and overwhelming 2020 has been, I know I still have plenty to be grateful for. In fact practicing gratitude in the midst of difficult times can be quite energizing and motivating to push through the trials.
In this month of July alone there is so much to celebrate and be thankful for. July 29, 2012 was when I first met my husband Les Cubero. We were then engaged July 4, 2014 and married July 18, 2015. This year we’ll be celebrating 5 years of marriage and 8 years of knowing each other and becoming best friends. So thankful for all of that, and for the family and life we created together with our two beautiful girls.
What I’m Thankful For
I encourage you to create your own Gratitude Mandala. You can download the template bellow or create your own from scratch.
